How much % salary increase have you taken while changing jobs?

Atlast all my checks are cashed today. I am able to get my case number from the checks. Even though INS received my application on June 6th, in my 485 it says that they have received my application only on June 11th. Wonder why?
They fwded the bundle to texax your receipts start with SRC not LIN.

finally got to know from my bank that checks were encashed. checked the receipt nos. on back of checks. notice receipt date is 10the sept.
i had mailed the papers on july 27th and NSC receipt date was 30th july.
was your i-140 from TSC

Paper based EAD application Received date: Aug 8th, 2008
LUD : Aug 12th, 2008
Card Production Ordered : Aug 16th, 2008
Card Received by mail : Aug 21st,2008 ( valid for 2 years)
Whole process took around 2 weeks.

Is there any specific center we should be sending our 485 application. I have applied for I140 from Nebraska, can I apply for 485 in Texas...

I and my wife have been SCREAMING, FIGHTING for over four years now. We are now so frustrated that we have EVEN DISCUSSED THINGS LIKE TAKING UP OUR LIVES !!! I really mean it. For both of us, our career is the single most important thing.
We had decided to wait for our next step in life like having a kid or putting in a big investment till we both at least have a job. Inspite of both of us having Masters degress from US universities, we are both suffering - me languishing in a filthy job and my wife on H4 - for the past 5 years !!! She is now more than 35 making it difficult to have kids etc...
I don't have the choice of going back to my home country due to many other personal reasons. I just don't know what to do... I am losing my sanity.

There is a mistake in the vb for Oct 2009 for Eb3 . Please look at the mumbai consulate it shows Eb3 -I cutoff date is 22 feb 2002.
Cut Off Dates- Consulate General of the United States Mumbai, India (http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/cut_off_dates.html). Can anyone verify the problem .
Mistake seems to be at the Mumbai site. They seem to have copied E3-I dates from the China column of the original VB. Perhaps they will correct it quickly. On the optimistic note, we can hope that error is in the published VB, not at Mumbai site.

Immigration-law.com just reported that "As reported by the USCIS, the Service Centers are currently experiencing the receipting frontlogs. In some cases, there are frontlog of 45 days or longer...".
I pray to God that I will not need to wait 2 months for my receipt...

on june first nse received abt 740 I485 applications.
I hope it is true. NSC is lazy man. They cannot process more than that a day. if not there will be a retrogression/backlog here in receipts too.:(

Base on PD is not fare enough. Many of us filed GC vary late because of one or many reasons.
I understand why you all are not favoring my call, since you all are EB2, EB3 is suffering because of no movement and huge backlog and EB2 is gaining because of Spillover, so you all are not favoring this. Anyway we are trying our best to get some relief for those hanging around with older priority date, let's see...
