I have arranged to send the flowers so they reach USCIS on 10 July.
Incidentally, there was a townhall meeting with Senator Bob Casey in Pittsburgh. Thankfully i got to speak with him and personally put forth our story of endless waits for a greencard. Am not sure if it will genrate any tangible action from his end, but it certainly drew attention of the public present there, his staff and mostly importantly the Senator's mindshare.
Let's keep this effort on..

Problem with that argument once you own more than 5% of the company you will have file as investor. If your wife owns the company then you will have file under relative category. There were denials based on this.

I would request IV core team to concentrate on new bill or some way for relief to skilledworkers like us. I dont think waiting until end of July is good option here. It is certain that CIR is not going to be there for this year..whole US world is thinking of same.

My situation is similar too.
The employer is not ready to file the 485, thinking that I may leave the company after 6 months.
I have the I-140 receipt notice , but no approval notice.
There is no way he is going to issue a employment letter , still debating my options.

I called and talked to a level 2 officer and she could not find us in the system.
Filed on July 19th. 140 approved from NSC in June 2006. NSC is receipting August 2nd applications. Very frustrationg and I dont know how long it will take.

On aug 9 th, USCIS nebraska center issued a total of 4063 receipt nos for 485, EAD, and APs.

From this, if we assume ~4000/day, it ll take 20 working days to clear july 2nd filers (~80,000). My guess is by 31st Aug.
We need something similar for the Sept 18th DC rally. Can you guess? :)

Got my EAD (the actual card ) and the AP today in the mail. Details are as follows:
EB2 India - Filed Sept 06
140 Approved by TSC in Apr 07
485/EAD/AP Filed on July 2nd at NSC (R Williams 9 :02 am)
LUD on 140 - 08/05
Recd EAD and AP - 09/06
Have not received 485 receipt or FP notice. EAD and AP are from CSC - I recide in CA.

However, please understand, we are asking for "fair" and "equitable" treatment for those who are already inside the country and devoted sufficient time of their life here. To me this means "justice." I can very well relate to your desperation and anger, but please don't react emotionally. The legal or technical fact remains that no-one guranteed us GC and truth of the matter is most of us said "No" when immigration officer asked " do you have plans to settle in State?" So their is no question of equitable treatment.
... it is possible that EB Indians are targeted by this administration. Infact in good times of this country we have done it a lot of favor instead of our home country. Now is the time to ask for "rights" for our contribution.. No Sir, I can't say thier is conspiracy as I know of none. As of us doing favor? ... is completly wrong, we all knew what and why we are coming here for. Had we had better choice we would have opted for that. Let's be honest to ourselves.

One of my friend got "Card Production Ordered" email. He is EB2-I, PD Jan 2006, RD- Sep 30 2007, NSC.
Mine is Dec 2005 and still waiting. So what is going on with NSC? Are they also doing the same thing that TSC is doing? latest cases first?

They said they will send email to TSC & hopefully I should get the FP in next 30 days , if not I should come again which I did. This time they did the same email thing .Actually I went 2nd time to know whether my NC was clear or not. Menwhile I had created 2 SR's by calling USCIS too.
I hope to get the FP in next few days .

....My permanent employment is in Massachusetts...so from what I read ( from I-140 si I-485 instructions) my permanent employment which is Massachusetts...does not correspond to the Nebraska Service Center...it corresponds to the Texas Service Center. I've noticed this only after my lawyer sent my package to NEBRASKA.
Please tell me if I'm accurate about this matter?
Will USCIS REJECT MY PACKAGE OF i-140 AND i-485 because of improperly filed?
Please help me!

Dear admins,
I think deleting my post was not fair. The other people who have been bashing us with MS degrees need to also have their posts deleted.
I was not offensive in anyway, I just pointed out the reality of the situation and that is not "being offensive."
If you are afraid of alienating some of your contributors, well then by deleting the posts of ppl with Masters degrees you risk alienating them.
If I offended the admin personally if he/she does not have a masters degree, I apologize for hurting your "feelings" but that does not allow you to delete my post .
Finally, since 99% of the time the admins come back with not relevant to the thread, I agree on that ground but respectfully request the deletion of posts by a bunch of others like the "hiring manager" who instigated this discussion.

Can you also delete posts where there was some bashing of people with advanced degrees, just to make it fair? I think the whole thing was started by the guy (GCsucks) by addressing people who attend U.S universities as "Kids" and I agree with "yabadaba" that this is reality and we were just pointing out what the issues are. If it's a case of sour grapes then may be that guy should vent his frustration else where or easier GET HIMSELF AN ADVANCED DEGREE IN THE U.S
